Independent Correspondent Status

I understand that Hype In The Streets is a creator initiative operated by The Hype Magazine.

If accepted, I will participate as an independent correspondent and not as an employee of The Hype Magazine.

I am responsible for my own transportation, equipment, insurance, taxes, and business obligations unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Acceptance Into the Network

I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

The Hype Magazine reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or remove any correspondent from the Hype In The Streets network at its sole discretion.

Representing The Hype Magazine

If selected, I understand that I am representing The Hype Magazine and Hype In The Streets.

I agree to conduct myself professionally while covering events, interviewing individuals, working with brands, and engaging with the public.

I will:

• •Conduct myself with integrity and professionalism.
• •Respect clients, interview subjects, venues, and fellow creators.
• •Follow assignment instructions and editorial guidelines.
• •Maintain confidentiality when required.
• •Represent The Hype Magazine in a positive and professional manner.

Creator Responsibilities

As a Hype In The Streets Correspondent, I agree to:

• •Capture authentic stories and cultural moments.
• •Produce original content.
• •Submit assignments within requested deadlines.
• •Communicate professionally with The Hype Magazine team.
• •Obtain required interview releases before submitting interviews.
• •Participate in collaboration posts when requested.

Interview Release Requirement

I understand that every individual interviewed or featured through Hype In The Streets must complete the official Interview Release Form before any interview, photos, videos, or related content can be published.

I agree to obtain the completed release form before submitting interview content.

Content Ownership & Usage Rights

I understand that all photos, videos, interviews, written content, audio recordings, and other media created as part of a Hype In The Streets assignment are produced specifically for The Hype Magazine.

I understand that all content created during a Hype In The Streets assignment is jointly owned by The Hype Magazine and the assigned Hype In The Streets Correspondent.

The Hype Magazine shall have perpetual, worldwide rights to publish, edit, reproduce, distribute, archive, promote, display, and use the content across all current and future media platforms, including but not limited to:

• •Hype In The Streets
• •Websites
• •Print Publications
• •Digital Publications
• •Social Media Platforms
• •Podcasts
• •Video Channels
• •Streaming Platforms
• •Newsletters
• •Marketing Campaigns
• •Promotional Materials
• •Advertising

As the creator, I may use the content within my professional portfolio, website, social media platforms, and personal marketing materials after it has been published or approved for release by The Hype Magazine.

I understand that content created for Hype In The Streets is intended exclusively for The Hype Magazine and may not be sold, licensed, assigned, transferred, or published through another magazine, media outlet, publication, or competing platform without the prior written consent of The Hype Magazine.

I agree that The Hype Magazine has first publication rights to all content created through Hype In The Streets assignments.

Collaboration Posts

I understand that collaboration is a core part of the Hype In The Streets program. When requested, I agree to:

• •Accept Instagram Collaboration invitations.
• •Participate in approved cross-platform collaboration posts.
• •Tag The Hype Magazine when appropriate.
• •Help amplify published content through my social media channels.

Editorial Standards

I understand that The Hype Magazine maintains full editorial discretion.

The Hype Magazine may edit submitted content for:

• •Grammar
• •Formatting
• •Branding
• •Length
• •Editorial consistency
• •Quality

These edits will not intentionally misrepresent the story or interview.

Submission of content does not guarantee publication.

Media Credentials

If issued media credentials by The Hype Magazine, I understand they remain the property of The Hype Magazine.

Credentials may not be transferred, duplicated, loaned, sold, or used for unauthorized events.

The Hype Magazine may revoke credentials at any time.

Confidentiality

I agree to keep confidential any non-public information regarding:

• •Assignments
• •Brand campaigns
• •Internal communications
• •Editorial planning
• •Business opportunities

unless authorized by The Hype Magazine.

Code of Conduct

While representing Hype In The Streets, I will not:

• •Misrepresent The Hype Magazine.
• •Harass or discriminate against clients, interview subjects, venues, or fellow creators.
• •Publish knowingly false or misleading information.
• •Use media credentials improperly.
• •Engage in illegal or unethical conduct.
• •Damage the reputation of The Hype Magazine or Hype In The Streets.

Violation of these standards may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the network.
